The atmosphere was welcoming, and I appreciated the
cleanliness and comfortable room. The shared kitchen was well-equipped, although I did find it a bit crowded during breakfast times. A late check-out option was a lovely surprise, making my experience even better overall.

I almost gave this place a good review, but I just couldn’t! There was a lingering smoke smell in the room, and don’t even get me started on the thin walls, just awful. I expected some kind of special gesture for my troubles but got nothing. Truly disappointing, for a so-called guest house.

Lovely place to stay with fresh towels and clean bathroom. The bed was low, making it tricky to get in and out.

Kelsall Guest House was a lovely place to stay. The room was spacious, well-heated, and had large windows that let in natural light. Pinder, the host, welcomed me warmly and was always available to provide helpful tips about the area.
Shared bathroom could be a concern.

Great location, comfy bed, and clean bathroom. The free wi-fi was a lifesaver, and I appreciated the host's helpfulness. Also loved having fresh towels and linens—practically a royal treatment!
The bed was a bit low, making me feel like I was auditioning for a circus act! Just a couple more chairs in the kitchen would’ve saved me from dining on the stairs.

It was just a strong match for a weekend vacation in Birmingham with outstanding value for money. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for meeting other visitors. Bring your own chair if you want to avoid sitting on the stairs during breakfast.
